Tyler Oakland, MSW, LICSW
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here!
I specialize in providing compassionate, trauma-informed counseling for teens and adults who are navigating the challenges that come with difficult life experiences. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing is possible when people feel safe, supported, and truly heard.
Trauma can impact every part of life—relationships, self-esteem, work, and even how we move through the world day to day. My role is to walk alongside you as you begin to process your story, reclaim your strengths, and build healthier ways of coping.
More than anything, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and empowered. Therapy with me is not about judgment—it’s about understanding. It’s about discovering new ways of relating to yourself and others, and finding hope in the process of growth.
Education and Specialties: I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Winona State University.
These are some of the types of therapy I use:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
DBT
Accelerated Resolution Therapy
Whether you are seeking support for recent challenges or healing from long-standing wounds, I’m here to help you take the next step forward.
