  • Hi!  I’m Stacy Brown, MSW, LICSW, and I’m so glad you’re here!

As a mom, wife, daughter, friend, and business owner, I understand the demands and struggles that come with life –especially for women like us.

And if you’re feeling the pain from your past keeps getting in the way of your attempts to live your best life — you’re not alone!

Here’s the truth:  you deserve to heal from your past trauma, develop unshakable self-confidence, and say goodbye to the stress and anxiety that keep holding you back — and I’m here to make it happen.

My approach is authentic and my treatment approach is tailored to your individual needs.  Together, we will come up with a plan to help you heal and find relief through in-person appointments in my Austin, MN office or teletherapy appointments from the comfort of your own home in Minnesota or Iowa.

    Education and Specialties

I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa.

These are some of the types of therapy I use:

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
    • DBT
    • EMDR
    • Accelerated Resolution Therapy
    • Gottman Method Couples Therapy

I am certified in EMDR and master certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, two forms of therapy that help people heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences.
